QPR To Borrow Coventry's Gary?
Coventry City defender Gary Borrowdale could be on his way to Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers...
According to reports in the British press, Championship club Queens
Park Rangers could be set to sign Coventry City left-back Gary
Borrowdale on loan.
The 23-year-old, who has one England under-20 cap to his name, began his career with Crystal Palace and played for the Eagles for five seasons before moving to the Sky Blues.
However, the defender has fallen down the pecking order at the Ricoh Arena recently, and has already enjoyed a spell on loan at League One side Colchester United this campaign.
The R's only have one natural left-back in their squad at the moment so it is thought that new manager Paulo Sousa is keen to add some cover and competition to Damien Delaney.
Apparently, the initial loan deal could become a permanent switch in the new year - and if that proves to be the case, Borrowdale would be the Portuguese tactician's first signing since arriving at Loftus Road.
