Doncaster To Loan Hull Striker?
Hull City forward Dean Windass could be set to join Championship club Doncaster Rovers on loan...
According to reports in the British press, Championship club Doncaster Rovers could be set to complete a loan deal for Hull City striker Dean Windass.
Apparently, the transfer could go through before Rovers' home game with Ipswich Town on Saturday evening, meaning Windass would be available to play.
39-year-old Windass has so far rejected the chance to go out on loan to various clubs this season, as he wanted to feature in the Premier League for his home-town club Hull City.
However, he has made just two substitute appearances to date and could now be set to join the Championship's bottom club who are seven points adrift of safety.
Doncaster are also having a tough time finding the back of the net, having scored just seven goals in 16 league games this season. Thus, the former Bradford, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United striker could give them some much needed firepower.
