Ajax are considering making a loan offer for Barcelona youngster Bojan Krkic for the second half of the season after being encouraged to make a move by the Catalan club.
The Dutch outfit are scouring the market for a new striker after agreeing to sell Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and have been linked with a number of frontmen for the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain and the Netherlands.
Bojan has featured this term for the Blaugrana, but he has been given less playing time that he enjoyed under Frank Rijkaard and that has apparently unsettled him.
While there is no thought of him leaving Camp Nou permanently, a loan move has been mooted in the past in order for him to play regularly and gain invaluable experience at the highest level.
In the summer the idea of going to a different club for the season was put to the 18-year-old and he turned it down saying that he would learn more from just training alongside the Barça stars every day.
After Frank Rijkaard used him regularly last term, Bojan was expecting to become even more prominent this season, given the coach's desire to promote from teh youth set-up.
Instead, his chances have ben limited and that is where Ajax hope to be able to attract the Spain international and have reportedly been encouraged by Barça officials to make their interest official.
The Dutch club have also been linked with Jack Tuyp, Jan Venegoor of Hessleink Baye Djiby Fall, Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Marcus Berg, while technical director Danny Blind is said to be keen to give Dario Cvitanich more of a chance before buying.
