The Belgian midfielder signed for Ajax from Den Haag side ADO in 2007, but has been unable to secure a regular starting spot. He has only made four official senior appearances for the Amsterdam giants and therefore wants to leave the club as soon as possible.

"I can hardly wait till it's January," started the 29-year-old to AT5. "I've to wait to see which teams are interested in signing me, but it's very much possible that I'm leaving in January. I really want regular first team football."

Delorge was one of the four players who were banished to the reserves in August, but he's the only one who's still wearing the Ajax jersey. The versatile midfielder opted to fight for his chance and wanted to do his utmost to convince manager Marco van Basten of his qualities.

However, the lack of first team action has now made him change his mind.

The former ADO Den Haag player started his professional career at Gent and also played for Coventry City, Lierse and Anderlecht. His current deal at Ajax expires at the end of the season.
