The 55-year-old coach has picked a host of young players for the match against the Three Lions and talked up the future of the national team
Erik Hamren has opted to select a youthful Sweden squad for his side's clash with England.
The Scandinavians entertain Roy Hodgson’s men in their first match at the New Friends Arena on November 14 and the 55-year-old will look to use a host of relatively untried players for the game.
There are call-ups for Udinese striker Mathias Ranegie, Ajax’s Tobias Sana as well as Malmo pair Jiloan Hamad and Pontus Jansson and Hamren was quick to talk up their international credentials at a press conference.
“I see quality, attitude and future,” Hamren told reporters.
Sweden are currently sat in second place in Group C of World Cup qualification and host Republic of Ireland on March 22.
