The teenage striker, who is currently on loan to Feyenoord from Manchester City, made his first international appearance in the midweek victory over Croatia
The Manchester City-owned Guidetti is spending this season on loan at Feyenoord and his remarkable goalscoring exploits for the Eredivisie outfit resulted in him being handed his first cap for his country in Wednesday's win over Croatia.
AC Milan striker Ibrahimovic was impressed by what he saw from the 19-year-old and feels that the forward has the ability to announce himself as a global star in Poland and Ukraine.
"Guidetti now knows how it feels to play for Sweden," he told Algemeen Dagblad. “He has his debut behind him now and from here he will only get better.
“It would have been nice if he had scored straight away but, even without a goal, he should be satisfied with himself.
“John is a player with something extra. Each team in the European Championship will have a joker in the squad and Sweden’s will be John Guidetti.
“It’s clear now that he will be there in Poland and Ukraine in the summer.”
Sweden have been drawn in the same group as Ukraine, England and France for Euro 2012. Guidetti has scored 16 goals in 14 Eredivisie appearances for Feyenoord this season.
