thumbnail Hello,

The Brazilian forward has refused to write off his club's title chances after the weekend setback, and spoke of his joy to play alongside Lucho Gonzalez again.

Porto forward Hulk has insisted his club remain in the race for the Portuguese Liga title.

The Europa League holders have lost ground in the race for for the league crown following Sunday's shock 3-1 defeat at Gil Vicente.

Porto are now five points shy of leaders Benfica, but Hulk has reminded that the Lisbon-based club have several chances to drop points before the end of the season.

"There are 13 matches left, we have hard games coming, just like they do," he told Lancenet.

"Porto and Benfica are not the only good teams. There are also Sporting Braga, Sporting CP, Maritimo and Vitoria de Guimaraes. Those are all strong sides.

"No-one expected the defeat to Gil Vicente. Our team is very strong, but it is very hard to play against a well organised team away from home."

The Brazil international also noted his happiness to reunite with Lucho Gonzalez, who returned to Porto after leaving the Estadio do Dragao for Olympique de Marseille in 2009.

"He is a great player and a humble person," Hulk added. "He helped me out a lot when I got here, he is a great friend.

"He will only help us to improve with his football and I hope we can play well together."
