The FA director has guaranteed that a new coach will be found in the near future following the sacking of the 65-year-old earlier on WednesdayTurkish Football Federation (TFF) director Cuneyt Tanman has indicated that a successor to Guus Hiddink will soon be found.
The Dutchman was relieved of his post after failing to guide Turkey to the Euro 2012 finals following a 3-0 loss to Croatia on aggregate.
Tanman acknowledged that it will not be easy to choose a new man for the job but stated the nation's FA will soon announce Hiddink's replacement.
"Everyone in the Federation has names in their mind, but it is not correct to say them," he told NTVSpor.
"We are planning to do something good for Turkish football in general; we are looking at the big picture here.
"It will not take long to find the new coach. Tomorrow [Thursday], after the meeting, everything will be clearer."
Turkey have been paired with the Netherlands, Hungary, Romania, Estonia and Andorra in the qualifiers for World Cup 2014.
