Dortmund must always play with knife between teeth, says Aubameyang

The versatile attacker has called on his team-mates to play with drive and determination until the end of the season
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang believes that anything is possible for Borussia Dortmund if they continue to play with the same passion they displayed in Tuesday's DFB-Pokal quarter-final win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

A single Aubameyang strike saw Jurgen Klopp's men progress to the final four and the attacker has urged his team-mates to show more of the same kind of drive and determination for the remainder of their 2013-14 campaign.

"If we - like against Frankfurt - play with a knife between our teeth and fight until we drop we can go far in every competition," the former Saint-Etienne star told the official BVB website.

"There’s a lot of quality in the squad. We can achieve much more if we stick together."

The 24-year-old then went on to voice his delight with his decisive strike in a hard-fought game against Frankfurt.

"I’m very happy about my goal as we had to work very hard for it," Aubameyang enthused. "It was a difficult game, so we can be very happy about this win."

Dortmund were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the competition last season by eventual winners Bayern Munich. They last won the DFB Pokal in 2011-12.
