The centre-back, who's still recovering a knee injury, has hailed the former Barcelona coach's positive influence at the Allianz ArenaBayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber believes that Pep Guardiola is the perfect coach for the reigning Bundesliga champions and is confident he can take them to the next level.
The Germany international has undergone four operations in the past 12 months as he recovers from torn cruciate ligaments and has yet to work closely with the former Barcelona coach.
However, he's in regular touch with Guardiola and has nothing but praise for the 42-year-old.
"I think we can go to the next level with his way of playing football," Badstuber was quoted as saying on the official Bayern website.
"He’s very meticulous in his work and he wants to perfect the team. I think he’s a big plus for Bayern.
"We’re in touch all the time. He’s always stayed up-to-date on what I’m doing."
Badstuber has not featured for Bayern since the 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund on December 1, 2012.
