Joachim Low believes Italy are ideal opponents for Germany as they begin their preparations for the 2014 World Cup.
The Germans secured their passage to Brazil in style with nine wins from 10 European Group C qualifiers and will face the 2006 world champions in an international friendly at Milan's San Siro stadium on Friday night.
Despite the fixture coming during a crowded domestic schedule, Germany boss Low insists the clash with the Azzurri is the perfect game for his side as they continue their preparations for next summer.
"There are no better opponents than Italy for a November friendly," Low told reporters.
"They come as a wolf in sheep's clothing as you never know what to expect from this team.
"They can adjust their game like no other team in the world, they are illusionists."
The 53-year-old also says he will be looking for an impressive performance from his side, even though there is little riding on the clash.
"The vagaries of the match should not affect our display," he added.
"This team must continue to mature, and improve many aspects of our game."
