New Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has seen his confidence boosted by Jurgen Klopp following his arrival this summer.
The 24-year-old joined Signal Iduna Park for an estimated €15 million from Saint-Etienne in July and will compete with, or play alongside, Robert Lewandowski in attack.
The latest BVB arrival has revealed that the 46-year-old trainer is keen to ease him into life in Germany and the attacker believes that he will reap the rewards on the pitch as a result.
"Klopp is a great coach and man. He told me that I should not put myself under pressure and all is well. Confidence naturally helps me tremendously," Aubameyang told Bild.
The Gabon international also laughed off comparisons to Olympic 100 metre and 200m gold medallist Usain Bolt following his speedy acceleration results in pre-season training at BVB.
"I think Bolt's cool, but the comparison to Bolt is misleading because I explode only in the first 30-40m really," he added. "Of course, but I also know that I'm doing well on the opening metres."
