The BVB chief has said his side do not need die Roten officials to tell his team how to conduct themselves, following comments from the Bayern Munich coach
BVB boss Jurgen Klopp had stated that the Bavarians had copied their style of play.
That prompted Bayern Munich counterpart Jupp Heynckes to accuse them of being sore losers in the wake of the DFB-Pokal quarter-final between the two sides on Wednesday.
But Watzke told AZ: "Bayern Munich are certainly not a club that have to tell us how to show grace in defeat.
"They themselves don't exactly have a monopoly on that.
"What Jurgen Klopp says is certainly true. We certainly don't need Bayern to give us lectures about how we are to behave."
