The Netherlands international spent the past two months on the sidelines after picking up an injury in the international friendly against Germany, but he is now eager to play again with the winter break set to come to an end this weekend.
"It's already going surprisingly well. I'm back again," Robben told AZ.
"I understand and respect the current situation because the other guys did a great job during the first half of the season.
"I don't fear that I'll end up warming the bench, though. I feel that I'm approaching top form again."
Bayern take on Greuther Furth on Saturday in their first Bundesliga game since the winter break.
