The charismatic tactician is hoping his team can build on their impressive finish to 2012 by being even stronger for the remainder of the seasonBorussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is confident his side will be stronger in the second half of the Bundesliga season.
The league's champions suffered an indifferent start to their title defence and already trail league leaders Bayern Munich by 14 points.
However, Die Borussen did record an impressive run of results as the German league entered the Christmas break, losing just once in 15 matches in all competitions.
"We will definitely play a better second half - better, more clear and also more effective with scoring points," Klopp told a press conference.
"We want to carry our good form into the second half of the campaign. Our goal is to work on the areas that weren't perfect yet.
"We were strong, we are strong and we will be strong in the second half of the season. We will definitely attack."
Dortmund's first test for the New Year will be a trip away to Werder Bremen on January 19.
