I do not give a damn about Bayern Munich anymore, says Mats Hummels

Die Borussen defender has said that he has no sentimental thoughts left about his former club, and claims to be fully committed to Jurgen Klopp's side
Borussia Dortmund centre-back Mats Hummels has revealed that he could not care less about his ex-club Bayern Munich ahead of the Bundesliga clash at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

The Germany international, who spent most of his youth career at the Bavarians' academy, had also spent his first three professional years at Die Roten but says he now has no fondness for the side.

"I do not give a damn about Bayern [Munich]," the 23-year-old told Bild, adding: "I have completely lost the link with the club.

"By this time, I am thoroughly a Borusse [dedicated to playing for Dortmund]," he said.

Hummels also admitted that he was delighted to have recovered from injury in time to appear against his former club, who top the German league.

"Remarkably, it is better now and I have trained normally with the team today," he told reporters.

"I am expecting nothing less than being able to play [on Saturday]," he added.

The clash of the Bundesliga's first and third-placed teams kicks-off on Saturday, December 1 at 18.30CET.
