The defender picked up an injury in the defeat to Bayer Leverkusen, and will be out of action until the middle of NovemberBayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes will have to make do without the services of Holger Badstuber for at least two weeks with a ruptured thigh muscle.
The Germany international picked up the problem in Bayern's 2-1 Bundesliga defeat to Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday, and Heynckes stated on Monday that Badstuber could be out of action for a while.
The Bavarians have now announced on their official website that the centre-back will be sidelined for a minimum of 14 days.
"It's a bad loss. I hope we can replace him adequately," commented Heynckes on Badstuber's absence.
The 23-year-old defender has featured in every competitive match so far this term for Bayern, but will now miss the games against Kaiserslautern, Hamburg, Lille and Eintracht Frankfurt.
