"The DFB Cup is one of our goals this season," he continued. "We started well last week against Dortmund and won our first title, the Super Cup. But for the Bavarians, this title was only the beginning. We must fight for all the titles in which we take part, and this competition and this is no different. The expectation is that we are in Berlin in May."
His compatriot Rafinha is set to return to the squad after a lengthy spell on the sidelines and is relishing the chance to get back to playing in the Bayern Munich jersey.
"I feel really good and I'm almost 100%. Next week I'll be able to train with the team," he told Goal.com.
"The team has won the Super Cup and I hope this result gives us the moral right to start well in the Bundesliga"
