The Bavarian side's preparations are about to step up a gear as eight players come back from their holidays after a busy summer at the European ChampionshipBayern Munich can boast a complete squad for the first time in their pre-season training after eight Germany internationals returned from their summer vacations.
France international Franck Ribery joined up with the team on July 19, while the remaining eight absentees arrived back in Bavaria over the weekend ready to embark on the pre-season tour of China.
The eight players who were last to return after representing die Mannschaft during the European Championship are Philipp Lahm, Manuel Neuer, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Jerome Boateng, Holger Badstuber, Mario Gomez, Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller.
And vice-captain Schweinsteiger spoke to Sport1 about his anticipation ahead of the upcoming season: "We are a harmonic force. It is no wonder that we are excited about returning to our colleagues."
Defender Boateng shared his team-mate's optimism about the new campaign. "In this unit, our holidays are immediately forgotten."
The Bayern team fly to China on Sunday evening for their pre-season tour, but will be without Lahm and Schweinsteiger, after the coach Jupp Heynckes decided it would be better if they rested ahead of the new season following their hectic 2011-12 campaign for club and country.
