The Germany Under-18 international insists that he will not be intimidated by the prospect of mixing with it with some of the biggest names in world football
The 18-year-old winger, who joined the Bavarians from Koln on June 1 for a reported fee of €500,000, is well aware that nailing down a regular berth in Jupp Heynckes' starting line-up will be extremely difficult, but he insists that he is not afraid of the challenge.
"It's an honour to play for the club," Weiser said in an interview with Spox.com. "I have been very well received by the players and coaches and I'm trying to do my best.
"Already a few stars are here [after Euro 2012] and it's been something very special to play with so many world class players.
"But I'm not here to admire the stars, but to learn from them, so I can keep up with them at some point. And that depends on me."
Weiser, who will wear the No.23 shirt with die Roten, penned a three-year contract with the Champions League runners-up.
