The BVB coach has stressed that the Bundesliga champions are eager to take down Jupp Heynckes' side and add the German cup to their trophy cabinet this seasonBorussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has assured that his side are determined to beat rivals Bayern Munich in the final of the DFB-Pokal.
The Bundesliga champions defeated Greuther Furth 1-0 after extra time on Tuesday to book their ticket for the showpiece in Berlin, while Bayern shrugged off Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday, winning 4-2 in penalties.
With a fierce match expected in the final, Klopp has made it clear that BVB are desperate to bring the trophy back home to Dortmund on May 12.
"People occasionally say that we're acting rather difficult when it comes to declarations of war, so I'll speak up this time: We want to beat them! We know that it will not be easy, but we're eager to beat Bayern," Klopp was quoted as saying by TZ.
"Dortmund versus Bayern is the number one in the league versus the runners-up, I'd be excited if I were a neutral fan. It sounds like it could be a good game, and I expect it to be just that."
Borussia Dortmund will turn their focus to the Bundesliga again on Sunday when they take on Koln.
