Hamburg defender Jeffrey Bruma has maintained that he does not want to return to Chelsea at the end of the season.

The youngster joined the Blues in 2009 but made only a handful of appearances and was loaned out to Leicester City and then to the German side for a two-year stint. The Stamford Bridge outfit have the option to recall the youngster in the summer, should they wish to.

But the 20-year-old - who has made 14 appearances for the Bundesliga club - wants to continue his learning process away from his parent club.

"It was my dream to win a first-team place by [the age of] 21," Bruma said, according to The Sunday Mirror.

"But you must play. At Chelsea it does not look like the chance is coming."

Dutchman Bruma has also represented the Netherlands at Under-19, Under-21 and senior international levels.
