Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has claimed that Borussia Dortmund are not a top international team.

The A
llianz Arena outfit lost the race for Borussia Monchengladbach star Marco Reus as the Germany international preferred BVB as the next stage of his career.

Questioned if the 22-year-old will provide international class to Dortmund, Rummenigge stated that the Bundesliga champions still lack the ability to prove their worth abroad.

"They first have to prove that they have this flair," he told Sport1. "Their performances in the Europa League and the Champions League cannot be called flair, right?"

Reus, who will move to the Westfalenstadion at the end of the season in a €17.5 million deal, has scored 13 goals in 17 competitive appearances for Monchengladbach this season.
