Werder Bremen sporting director Klaus Allofs expresses interest in re-signing Diego
The Brazilian playmaker, who is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid, is under contract to Wolfsburg until 2014 but he would be welcomed back at the Weserstadion with open arms

Werder Bremen sporting director Klaus Allofs has admitted that he would jump at the opportunity to re-sign Diego.
The Brazilian playmaker is currently on loan to Atletico Madrid from Wolfsburg, meaning a return to the Weserstadion seems unlikely.
However, Allofs has confessed that he would dearly love to bring the player back to Bremen.
"We had a great time with Diego, and he always behaved very professionally," he told Sport Bild.
"A transfer seems difficult at the moment, but we will definitely look into it if the opportunity comes up."
Diego, who is under contract to Wolfsburg until 2014, scored 38 goals in 84 appearances for Bremen before joining Juventus in 2009.
