Bayern Munich's Karl-Heinz Rummenigge not getting carried away after good start to 2011-12 campaign

The Bavarian club's chairman has stressed that they have not won anything yet as the season is still long
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge believes that it's too early to say whether the current squad are one of the best in the club's storied history.

Bayern have impressed in the opening months of the 2011-12 campaign as they sit atop of the Bundesliga table with 25 points from 11 games, having scored 30 times, while conceding only three league goals.

Nevertheless, when asked whether the current squad are among the best Bayern teams ever, Rummenigge refused to make any judgements just yet.

"There is no doubt this is a good FC Bayern, but we have not won any titles yet. It is only the end of October anyway," Rummenigge said to Eurosport.

"Maybe I should also remind you that we lost a game a week ago so that still happens occasionally.

"The important thing is that the recent wins against Ingolstadt and Nurnberg were a good response and now we want to carry on that way against Napoli."

Bayern are currently preparing for Wednesday's Champions League Group A match at home against Napoli. The first encounter between both sides two weeks ago ended in a 1-1 draw.
