The Norwegian tactician has stated that the in-form German striker has a similar build to the former boxer as the side look to continue their winning streak against Hertha BerlinKoln coach Stale Solbakken has compared the club's star forward, Lukas Podoski to former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion of the world, Mike Tyson.
The Norwegian tactician was referring to the player's physique ahead of the club's away trip to face Hertha Berlin on Saturday evening.
Podolski has been in fine form for Koln this season, scoring four goals and grabbing three assists for the side who have won two Bundesliga games on the bounce.
"When I see his physique, Lukas Podolski is football's little Mike Tyson," the coach told Sky in an interview.
Solbakken also confirmed that the German international was upset at losing the captain's armband to Geromel at the beginning of the season.
"I have spoken to Lukas a lot about this. He was obviously disappointed but he understood the reasons," he added.
The 43-year-old coach joined the club in the summer after a five-year successful spell at Danish side, Copenhagen.
