French international claims his understanding with the German defender is like second nature, while Thomas Muller says he does not fear competition for places next seasonBayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery believes he can 'play with his eyes closed' when Philipp Lahm is linking up with him.
Ribery was eager to re-emphasise the full-back's contribution to the side on Wednesday, describing the defender as a 'team player'.
The France midfielder insists he has no problems in helping others because of a cohesive understanding, especially with Lahm.
"I have had two good years with Philipp, I know what he does, he knows what I'm doing and this is automatic, I can play with my eyes closed with him," Ribery told the German press, as reported by Spox.com.
Speaking on former coach Louis van Gaal, Ribery added: "It was very hard for two years, and before that I played under [Jurgen] Klinsmann and [Ottmar] Hitzfeld which was very good."
Meanwhile, striker Thomas Mueller says he does not fear a fight for his place next season following the return to training of Ivica Olic and the arrival of Nils Petersen.
"I'm not afraid, there is always competition, but if you put in the effort then you end up playing," said the Germany international.
