Bayern Munich duo Bastian Schweinsteiger and Philipp Lahm have reacted angrily towards Arjen Robben's comments that the team lacked leadership.
The Dutch midfielder told TZ on Thursday the team missed the guidance of Mark Van Bommel who joined Milan in January.
His comments were not well received by both Lahm and Schweinsteiger who were far from impressed.
"I'm no little boss. I have been here for a long time. Everybody listens to what I say in the locker room," Schweinsteiger said angrily before walking out of the press room.
However, he later said: "the atmosphere within the team is good."
Lahm was slightly more concerned.
"Of course, this goes against myself. I don't think it was Arjen's motivation, but I will talk to him about this," said the German international.
Bayern need to beat Schalke and hope Hannover slip up as they try to squeeze themselves into the top-three.
And Lahm agrees they need to crackdown on their mistakes.
"Nobody wants to play in the Europa League. This sticks in our head," he concluded.
