Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm says that they must defeat Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga on Saturday.
The Bavarians slumped to a surprise 3-2 defeat to Koeln last weekend and Lahm says that they need to bounce back from that loss with a good performance this weekend.
“We have to look to the future now and pick up points in every match, because we must make sure of second place,” Lahm said, according to Bayern's official website.
"[The defeat to Koeln was] very, very bitter and disappointing. It's vital we send out a signal now.”
The German champions' chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge added, “We want 90 minutes worth of concentration, passion and determination, and not just the 45 minutes we saw in Cologne.”
