Stuttgart are considering legal action against the Ivory Coast Football Federation after Arthur Boka was injured on international duty.Arthur Boka returned from international duty nursing a knee injury, Stuttgart sporting director has admitted to being livid with the FIF (Ivory Coast Football Federation).
"Our attorney sent a protest letter to the Federation," he said according to Bild. "The game was absolutely unsightly," he added, referring to the robust way in which the Ivory Coast and Mali played earlier this week.
"One must also question the timing of the fixtures; what makes sense and what does not."
However, Bobic admitted that he anticipates no compensation for wages paid to Boka during his injury lay-off.
"It will be difficult to take legal action. But we also need to respond," Bobic said, suggesting that Stuttgart may seek remuneration.
Boka sustained medial ligament damage in his knee while playing against Mali. The 27-year-old is expected to be sidelined at least until April.
