thumbnail Hello,

Galatasaray are ready to make a move for long-term transfer target Hamit Altintop of German champions Bayern Munich.

Turkish giants Galatasaray are ready to make a January move for Bayern Munich midfielder Hamit Altintop with an offer of first team football.

Cim Bom Bom want the 28-year old, whose contract expires next summer, as a replacement for Bosnian playmaker Zvjezdan Misimovic, who was suspended by the club last month.

"As far as Misimovic is concerned, he's finished," coach Gheorghe Hagi is quoted as saying by Kicker.

The magazine also report that Galatasaray have had their sights on Altintop for several years and they believe that he could be lured to Istanbul with the brief of being the major creative force in their midfield.

Earlier this season, Altintop told Goal.com that he did not mind playing in any position so long as he was first choice in the team. However, he has been unable to secure a spot in Louis van Gaal's first choice XI at the Allianz Arena this season.
