|
Ibertsberger picked up a groin injury during training earlier this week and Rangnick confirmed in Friday's press conference that the defender won't be match fit in time for the encounter in Dortmund.
Additionally, Hoffenheim will also be without experienced defender Josip Simunic when they take on BVB. The former Hertha defender returns from suspension, but injury problems have ruled the 32-year-old out of contention.
Hoffenheim currently sit in fourth position in the Bundesliga and will be eager to pick up a good result at the weekend to stay in the title race.
