Schalke Winger Jefferson Farfan Detained In Peru, Could Miss Stuttgart Clash - Report

Due to a child support dispute, Jefferson Farfan may be detained in Peru for the next few weeks.
Schalke winger Jefferson Farfan may be unavailable for his club's next fixture, according to a report from Spox. After flying to his native Peru for upcoming internationals, the 25-year-old has allegedly been detained by local authorities.Reportedly, Farfan's ex-girlfriend has sued the former PSV Eindhoven man for support of their child, Jefferson Adriano. She allegedly seeks at least €50,000 monthly, though Farfan insists that he only makes €1300, a sum that police found difficult to believe. Accordingly, he is being held in Peru until a settlement is reached. Should the issue not be resolved within a fortnight, Farfan will have to miss Schalke's match against Stuttgart.
