Hoffenheim midfielder Sebastian Rudy limped out of training this morning with a calf problem and is a doubt for Mainz this weekend...Hoffenheim midfielder Sebastian Rudy was forced out of training with a calf problem today, which makes him a major doubt for the weekend's game against table toppers Mainz.
"Rudy suffered a blow to the calf in training on Monday. Today he felt it in training and as a result he had to stop towards the end," coach Ralf Rangnick explained to Bild.
"It would be a shame if he was out [of the Mainz game]. We must see how it will develop. I think that we will be able to say more on Thursday."
Rudy joined Hoffenheim from VfB Stuttgart during the summer transfer window. He has settled in well, setting up his side's goal against Bayern Munich on matchday five.
