Hoffenheim striker Demba Ba is pleased to be back from injury and is happy with his performances so far...Hoffenheim striker Demba Ba has stated that he is satisfied with his performances this season since his return from injury. The Senegalese international missed the end of the last campaign with a knee problem.
"I can be satisfied with my performances, even if I still have room for improvement. The main goal for me is to stay fit. I am sure that if I can succeed in doing that, that more consistent performances will follow," Ba told the club's official website.
He also looked ahead to Saturday's encounter with Mainz, who so far this season have emulated Hoffe's success of two season ago.
"I am hoping for a win of course. The preparation for the game has gone well. We will go for the three points but it will be a difficult game. Mainz are full of running, they play as a team and have a great deal of self-confidence."
The 25-year-old Ba has scored two goals so far this campaign, playing his part in Hoffenheim's good start to the season which sees them sitting in fourth spot with 11 points from six games.
