Dimitar Rangelov should join Maccabi Tel Aviv before September 7.

Bundesliga: FC Energie Cottbus - Borussia Dortmund, Dimitar Rangelov und Florian Kringe (firo)
Out-of-favour Borussia Dortmund striker Dimitar Rangelov is expected to complete his transfer to Maccabi Tel Aviv within the next few days. While the transfer window in Germany is closed, an exemption will allow the Bulgarian to move to Israel until September 7.

"The two clubs have agreed, now we just wait on the player," Dortmund spokesman Josef Schneck told Ruhr Sport.

Rangelov, 27, has managed just 10 appearances for Dortmund since joining the club from Energie Cottbus in 2009. Following the arrival of Robert Lewandowski, his chances of breaking into the first team have dwindled further, prompting his exit.
