Former Borussia Dortmund and Germany star Matthias Sammer has hailed prodigious attacking midfielder Mario Goetze.
The DFB (German FA) technical director considers Goetze "one of the best talents we've ever had".
"He's an exceptional player, has good speed, is extremely creative, and has outstanding technical skills."
Additionally, Sammer even hinted that Goetze, who turned 18 years of age in June, could be used as a starter in Dortmund's season opener against Wacker Burghausen.
Goetze made his debut in November 2009. Since then, he has appeared 12 times for his club in both competitive fixtures and friendlies, and scored five goals.
