In form Bundesliga side Borusia Dortmund have received some disturbing news from the treatment table in the aftermath of their 2-1 league win against Werder Bremen last weekend.
Head coach Juergen Klopp may have to make do without the services of skipper Sebastian Kehl for the rest of the season after the midfielder picked up a groin injury.
The 30-year-old sustained the injury in the first half of the match against Bremen and was forced to stay behind in the dressing rooms after the break.
Kehl already missed the first half of this campaign due to another groin injury and BVB fear that the highly rated midfielder won't return to match action this season, according to a report in Bild.
The influential midfielder will undergo further examination later on Tuesday to clarify the severity of his injury.
