Stuttgart Defender Ricardo Osorio On Villarreal Radar - Report
The Mexican defender could be on his way out of Stuttgart...
By Stefan Coerts
According to a report in Cadena Ser, Primera Division outfit Villarreal are closely monitoring Mexican international Ricardo Osorio, currently under contract at Stuttgart.
The Spanish side have been far from impressive at the back this season and head coach Juan Garrido is eager to strengthen his back line in the summer transfer window.
The highly rated defender joined Stuttgart from Cruz Azul in the summer of 2006, but he has failed to make an impact for the Schwaben ever since. Osorio has made 70 Bundesliga appearances for Stuttgart.
The 29-year-old defender has an expiring contract with the Bundesliga side and will leave the club on a Bosman free at the end of the season. Osorio has reportedly also attracted the interest of several Mexican sides.
