Talented youngster Toni Kroos has impressed with Bayer Leverkusen since making a loan leap from Bayern Munich little over 12 months ago, and the 20-year-old once-capped international will make his way back to the Allianz Arena at the conclusion of this campaign.

Kroos has played a significant role in aiding the Werkself to second in the Bundesliga, seriously threatening to upset FCB’s title charge, and the Munich outfit have seen enough good flash from the midfielder’s boots in recent times to justify their decision to take him back.

“The case has been resolved,” Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Bild. “I've met on Thursday of last week with Toni Kroos and his adviser Volker Struth. Toni will return to Bayern.

“I’ve told Tony that he should not be afraid to land on the bench. We’ve brought him back because [coach Louis] van Gaal thinks much of him. He has watched him closely in recent weeks.”

The midfielder made his international debut in midweek, turning out for Germany against Argentina in a 1-0 defeat. He has found the net nine times for Leverkusen this term, helping them to second in the Bundesliga, still boasting an unbeaten record after 24 games.
