Hoffenheim lock horns with Werder Bremen on Tuesday in what should be an exciting DFB Pokal quarter-final. Striker Vedad Ibisevic is confident that the Sinsheim side have what it takes to record a good result.

"It's not going to be easy, we know that much. Bremen are the favourites, but we're out to cause an upset and build on our confidence," said Ibisevic on the official Hoffenheim website.

"It's true that we haven't fared too well in Bremen in the past, but the win against Hannover last weekend convinced me that we can definitely get a result there.

"Three of our most important players had to be taken off last weekend, but the substitutes fitted in seamlessly and did a good job. We've had a lot of injuries to deal with over the past few weeks but we breathed a sigh of relief with the news that Simunic, Obasi and Maicosuel would be able to play.

"However, now Andreas Beck and Chinedu Obasi are out for a longer period. It's been typical of our season. Hopefully Demba Ba will be able to play against Bochum."
