Bundesliga outfit Koeln have received some positive news from the treatment table in the build-up to the upcoming league game against Hamburger SV on February 6.

Star attacker Lukas Podolski could return to the Koeln squad this weekend after the German international resumed training after a three-week injury lay-off.

"I'm feeling much better again. It's now up to me to make sure that I return to full match fitness as soon as possible and stay fit. I can probably return to match action this weekend or the following week," said Podolski on the official Koeln website.

Podolski returned to Koeln from Bayern Munich last summer, but the left footed attacker has failed to live up to the expectations so far. Podolski has scored only once in 16 Bundesliga appearances this season.
