Koeln Chase Malmo Starlet Guillermo Molins - Report
The Swedish midfielder could be on his way to the Bundesliga side...
Bundesliga side Koeln are closely monitoring the situation of young Malmo midfielder Guillermo Molins, according to a report in Express.
The Geissbocke are eager to add to their ranks in the January transfer window and Molins is one of the primary candidates to strengthen Koeln's midfield after the winter break.
The 21-year-old was born in Uruguay, but moved to Sweden at the age of four. He has represented Sweden at under-21 level several times and is widely expected to make the step up to the senior team in the near future.
Molins joined Malmo in 2005 and has developed into an important first team player since. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether his current club are ready to discuss a transfer.
Meanwhile, the transfer of Jonathan Pitroipa from Hamburger SV to Koeln appears unlikely to go through. The Rothosen are reportedly reluctant to let go of the 23-year-old.
