Hoffenheim & Stuttgart Want Wolfsburg Star Christian Gentner - Report
The midfielder could be switching clubs in the summer of 2010...
According to a report in Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung, Gentner is reluctant to sign a contract extension at the Wolfe and teams such as Hoffenheim and Stuttgart are keen on luring the midfielder to South Germany.
Gentner is a product of the Stuttgart youth academy, but left the Schwaben for Wolfsburg in the summer of 2007. The midfielder quickly developed into a key player at the German titleholders and has made 82 league appearances for the Wolfe so far.
His good performances haven't gone unnoticed in Stuttgart and they're reportedly desperate to re-sign Gentner, while regional rivals Hoffenheim could hijack Stuttgart's deal with a financially rewarding offer.
Gentner is expected to make a decision about his future in the opening weeks of January.
