According to a report in Russian newspaper Sport Express, Dynamo Moscow have joined the race to secure the services of Bayern Munich's out of favour striker Luca Toni.

There appears to be little doubt that the Italian hitman will leave Bayern Munich in January, especially after the club's president, Uli Hoeness, revealed that Toni could be allowed to depart the Allianz Arena on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old attacker was already been linked with Inter, Roma and Benfica before and Dynamo Moscow are now also believed to be keen on signing Toni in the winter transfer window.

The Russian side are reportedly ready to offer the former Fiorentina star an annual salary of €6.5 million.

It remains to be seen though whether Toni is interested in joining Dynamo Moscow. He recently expressed his desire to return to Italy and a Russian adventure appears to be very much unlikely.
