Borussia Dortmund Chase Hannover Midfielder Jan Rosenthal - Report
The young midfielder could be on the move in January...
According to a report in Bild, Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are closely monitoring the situation of highly rated Hannover midfielder Jan Rosenthal.
BVB are eager to add some more depth to their midfield in the upcoming winter transfer window and head coach Juergen Klopp reportedly sees the 23-year-old Rosenthal as the perfect man to strengthen his team.
The German midfielder is a product of the Hannover youth academy and has made well over 50 league appearances since making his first team debut in 2006.
Rosenthal's good performances this campaign haven't gone unnoticed in the rest of Germany. Aside from Borussia Dortmund, Werder Bremen are keeping tabs on the midfielder, too.
His current Hannover deal is due to expire in the summer of 2010 and the Bundesliga side could therefore be tempted to cash in on Rosenthal in January in order to prevent him from leaving the club on a Bosman move.
