Bayern Munich Coach Louis Van Gaal: It's Going Very Well With Franck Ribery
The French international is on his way back after a lengthy spell on the sidelines...
However, Van Gaal did welcome Robben back to the training pitch earlier this week and now French winger Ribery is nearing a return as well.
"It’s going very well for Franck. He has no pain any more, which is significant. He can run as much as he likes, and he’s training very hard. He’s already had the ball at his feet," Van Gaal said on the official FCB website.
"In the very best case, Ribery might even manage 10 or 15 minutes in next Tuesday’s crunch Champions League showdown in Turin. However, I reckon Juve will come too soon for him."
The France star had been plagued by a patellar tendon problem for the last two months.
