Kiessling has been declared "indispensable" to his club, with coach Heynckes lavishing praise upon the 25-year-old...
Bayer Leverkusen forward Stefan Kiessling has been one of the absolute stars of this year's Bundesliga campaign, boasting nine goals in 13 games, and coach Jupp Heynckes has now made it clear how he feels about his star attacker.
"To be honest, I feel like Stefan is the best German striker around at the moment. I'm glad that Germany coach Joachim Loew has also noticed this," said Heynckes to Bild.
"His first touch was far from perfect about three years ago, but his development since then has been impressive. He is one of our leaders on the pitch.
"I will not cooperate with any transfers. We have a good and young team and it's important to stay together for three of four more years. Kiessling and shot stopper Rene Adler are indispensable at Bayer Leverkusen."
Kiessling joined his current team from Nuremberg in the summer of 2006 and has since made well over 100 league appearances for the Werkself.
