Stuttgart Coach Markus Babbel Delighted With Rangers Champions League Win
Babbel is delight the struggling Bundesliga outfit came away from Glasgow with a very positive result, setting up a dramatic Matchday 6...
"We played very well tonight. We were aggressive and willing to put in the leg work right from the start. I'm delighted the lads finally managed to reward themselves," the Stuttgart coach explained.
"From No.1 to No. 11, including the players who came on as substitutes, every individual player performed."
Stuttgart have collected six points from five Champions League games so far. A win in their final game at home against Unirea Urziceni would help the Schwaben to the knockout phase.
"We have a real final ahead of us now in Stuttgart," he continued. "That's exactly what we wanted.
"I'd said to the team before the [Rangers] game that we can't afford to doubt ourselves. I even had to ask myself if I had doubts. No, I know now, I don't doubt."
