Bayern Munich 1-1 Bayer Leverkusen

Bayern took an early lead after a fine finish from Mario Gomez, but Stefan Kiessling struck five minutes later to draw the score level. Leverkusen missed a few opportunities to take the lead before sitting back in the second half. Bayern applied little pressure overall, but Rene Adler was forced to make a world class save late to deny Gomez a brace and Bayern a win.

Hamburg 0-1 Bochum

Injury-depleted Hamburg dominated the game, winning the vast majority of possession and holding their opponents to almost no opportunities. As the game drew towards a close, Bochum raced out on the break and took the lead through Dennis Grote. After the goal, the visitors went into lockdown mode and shut out Hamburg over the last 10 minutes to claim an impressive win.
